We dry the stem wood ourselves to ensure the right moisture level. Correctly handled stem does not shrink or twist. After drying, the wood is sawn and planed to the right size and shape. Pohjanmaan sofa frames have been made using tempered nozag steel springs or pocketed spiral springs together with high-quality, shape-retaining padding. Sturdy springs ensure comfort when sitting and the durability of the product.

We use high-quality foam, polyurethane foam and wadding as padding. Padding materials are carefully selected for different parts of the sofa depending on the strain that part gets.
